Sub: New Duty Drawback Rates for 2018-19
Dear Member,
We are glad to inform you that the much awaited All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback for 2018-19 have been announced by the Government vide Notification No.95/2018-Customs (N.T.), dated 6th December, 2018.
As you are aware, the Council has been continuously requesting the Government for increasing the All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback for MMF Textile items, post GST Regime.
In this regard, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the Government for hearing our plea by increasing the Drawback rates of majority of MMF Textile items. Also, we thank our members for kind cooperation and support in substantiating the data, as and when required by the Council.
We look forward for your support and cooperation in the matter for more favorable rates in the future.
Members may please download the following attachments for the new Duty Drawback rates on MMF Textile items:
Further, the members are requested to go through the Drawback Schedule and send us their feedback/suggestions especially on anomalies if any i.e. classification/ description and Rates/ Caps etc, latest by 12th December, 2018 to es@srtepc.in so that the same can be taken up with the Government. Since, the new Drawback rates are applicable w.e.f. 19th December, 2018, we request you to kindly send us the information immediately not later than 12th December, 2018.
