Sub: Implementation of Paperless Processing under SWIFT- Uploading of Supporting Documents (e-SANCHIT) in Exports
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to the Council’s earlier Circular No. ES/ 275/2018-19 dated November 9, 2018 wherein CBIC had extended the e-SANCHIT facility to all ICES locations on PAN India basis for all types of exports under ICES vide Circular No. 43/2018- Customs dated 8th November, 2018.
Now, JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has extended the above facility to all ICES locations on PAN India basis for all types of exports under ICES vide Public Notice No. 150/2018 dated 4th December, 2018. On voluntary basis, members of trade may use this facility to upload the supporting documents concerning Shipping bills that may be filed w.e.f. 8th November, 2018.
The procedure for eSANCHIT in exports is similar to the one prescribed for eSANCHIT in imports vide Public Notice No.162/2017 dated 29.12.2017.
For more information regarding procedures for uploading supporting documents on ICEGATE, members may kindly refer to Public Notice No. 150/2018.
Members of trade are advised to kindly use this facility for all their export clearances as it will reduce cost and expedites export clearances.
