Sub.: Addition / modification of All Industry Rate of Duty Drawback
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to the recent announcement of the All Industry Rates (AIRs) of Duty Drawback on 6th December, 2018.
In this connection the Council had a Meeting with the Drawback Dept. on 16th January, 2019 regarding the marginal increase of the Drawback rates and brought to their notice the anomalies and other suggestions put forth by our members and requested for higher Drawback Rates for MMF Textile products.
We are glad to inform you that the Drawback Dept. has considered some of our issues and amended / modified the Drawback Schedule vide CBIC Notification No.12/2019-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated 16th February, 2019.

Chapter 54- MAN-MADE FILAMENTS-
Following entries have been added after Tariff item ‘540203’ having description as’ Nylon Filament Yarn (Dyed)’:

We thank the Drawback Dept. for their timely support extended towards our members during the crucial hour when exports are hit largely.
However, there are some items / issues pertaining to MMF Textiles which needs to be addressed by the Drawback Dept. The Council will take up these issues with the Drawback Dept. in a separate Meeting for which the appointment of the Committee is sought.
Therefore, members may kindly make a note of the above and forward their suggestions, if any, not later than 21st February, 2019 positively to ed@srtepc.in, es@srtepc.in.
