CBIC extends the due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of January, 2019

Sub.: CBIC extends the due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of January, 2019

Dear Member,

We would like to inform you that CBIC has issued Notification No. 09/2019- Central Tax dated 20^th January, 2019 by making the following amendments in Notification No. 34/2018 – Central Tax, dated 10^th August, 2018 regarding the due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of January, 2019–

·The due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of January, 2019 has been extended from 20^th February, 2019 to 28^th February, 2019 for registered persons having place of business in the states of Jammu & Kashmir

·In the case of registered persons having place of business in other states of India,  the due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of January, 2019 has been extended from 20^th February, 2019  to 22^nd February, 2019.

Members may kindly make a note of the above.
