Sub.: Discontinuation of printing of Advance Authorisations / EPCG Authorisations on security paper by DGFT for authorisations issued with EDI ports as port of registration.

Dear Member,

Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No.ES/383/2018-19 dated 15^th February, 2019  about the decision taken by DGFT to discontinue the printing of the physical copy of Advance / EPCG Authorisations issued on or after 1^st March, 2019 by RAs, in respect of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ports to improve ease of doing business and improving online transactions vide Policy Circular No. 19/2015-20 dated 14^th February, 2019

In this regard, we would like to inform you that CBIC has now issued Circular No. 07/2019- Customs dated 21^st February, 2019 on the above subject.
