Dear Sir,

I am glad to inform you that the Council is organizing 4th edition of its Mega Reverse Buyers-Sellers Meet, which is also known as Source India in Mumbai --- inviting buyers from Asia, Africa, Latin American countries, etc.  The 3-day Flagship Export Promotion Programme of Textiles, approved by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, will be held by the Council under the MAI Scheme from 21st to 23rd August 2019 in the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East).

The Meet is primarily aimed towards aggressive selling of Indian Man-made Fibre Textiles to leading buyers from around 40 countries covering --- almost all the continents, and offers a tailor-made opportunity for members to conclude profitable business deals with international buyers right here in Mumbai without expenses and hassles of travel abroad.

The Buyers Sellers Meet will be widely publicized to attract leading foreign buyers and will consist of advertisements, flyers, brochures, Exhibitors’ Catalogue, Buyers’ Catalogue, website, media releases, etc.  It may also be mentioned that the buyers will be identified and selected by the Council with expert help and active guidance of the respective Indian Missions in each country and with the assistance of the local textile/industry/Chambers/Associations, etc.  Moreover, the expenses towards the visit of the “core impact” buyers like airfares/hotel accommodations will be subsidized by the Council to ensure success of the Mega Buyers Sellers Meet.

Around 150 prominent foreign buyers from United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Iran, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, Turkey, etc. are being invited.  Representatives of Buying Offices of International Textile Companies based in India will also be present at the Mega Buyers Sellers Meet to discuss business deals.

The star attraction of the “Source India” Programme will be Business Meetings, which the Council will organize on one-to-one basis at an exclusive Business Lounge at the venue of the Fair between participating member-companies and visiting invited international buyers.  Basic objective of this special effort is to help all member-participants meet and discuss business with visiting buyers on the basis of their respective product profiles.

On the occasion of the Buyers Sellers Meet, Fashions Shows will be held to showcase suitability of Indian fabrics/made-ups for the fashion needs of Middle East, Africa and North America, among others.  Cultural Programmes and Networking Dinners will also be organized on the occasion to bring together Indian participants and visiting buyers.

The Council proposes to select more than 125 member-companies of different product groups on a first-come-first-served basis for participation in the Buyers Sellers Meet.  Being a company keen to expand exports, I am confident you would not like to miss this unique opportunity.
