Sub.: CBIC further amends notification No. 50/2017-customs dated 30^th June, 2017 to postpone the implementation of increased customs duty on specified imports originating in USA to 16th May, 2019

Dear Member,

Your kind attention is invited to Council’s earlier Circular No.ES/435/2018-19 dated 30^th March, 2019 in which CBIC had issued Notification No. 11/2019- Customs dated 30^th March, 2019 by making amendments in Notification No. 50/2017-Customs dated 30^th June, 2017 in order to postpone the implementation of increased customs duty on specified imports originating in USA from 1^st April, 2019 to 2^nd May, 2019.

Now, CBIC has postponed the implementation of increased customs duty on specified imports originating in USA from 2^nd May, 2019 to 16^th May, 2019 vide Notification No. 14/2019- Customs dated 1^st May, 2019..

Members may kindly make a note of the above amendments.
