Sub: Participation in “Source India 2019’, SRTEPC’s flagship Global Reverse Buyers Sellers Meet from August 21st to 23rd 2019 at Mumbai
I am pleased to inform you that the Council is organizing the 4th edition of its Mega Reverse Buyers-Sellers Meet (RBSM), ‘Source India’ in Mumbai from 21st to 23rd August 2019 by inviting buyers from USA, U.K, Latin America, Africa and Asia among other regions. The 3-day Flagship Export Promotion Programme of Textiles, approved by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, is being held by the Council under the MAI Scheme at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.
Source India is primarily aimed towards aggressive selling of Indian Man-made Fibre Textiles to around 150 prominent buyers from nearly 40 leading countries. Fabric & Garment Manufacturers and Importers, Representatives of International and Indian Buying Houses, Procurement Managers of Global Retail Chains, Sourcing Agents and Wholesalers as well as Domestic Manufacturers and Suppliers will be present at the mega BSM to transact business. The Programme offers a “tailor-made opportunity” to members for negotiating business deals with international buyers of Man-made Fibre Textile Products under one roof without expenses and effort of traveling to 40 countries, besides saving on time.
The Buyers Sellers Meet is being widely publicized to attract discerning foreign buyers from the leading markets of textiles including China, Vietnam, USA, Turkey, Iran, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Philippines and many such MMFT potential countries including organizing Road Shows to promote the event in nearly 10 countries. The Council has put in place an elaborate selection process including identification and nomination of the leading importers in each country with the assistance of the respective Indian Embassies as well as the leading textile trade bodies.
Each selected buyer will be offered complimentary economy class return airfare, hotel accommodation at the Grand Hyatt for 3 nights and air-conditioned transportation to travel to the event. As organized in Source India 2018 each of the exhibitors will be confirmed of the opportunity to discuss business with each and every invited buyer on a ‘one to one basis’ at the exclusive Business Lounge being created at the venue.
In order to facilitate informal discussions and to help build relationships between our member exhibitors and invited International Buyers the Council will be organizing Networking Dinners with light entertainment on 21st and 22nd August 2019.
SRTEPC proposes to select around 125 member-companies of different product groups on ‘first-come-first-served basis’ for participation as exhibitors in the Event at the following rate:
The Council is pleased to announce a reimbursement of cost of hotel accommodation (Rs.5000 per day per exhibiting company or actual bill whichever is lower for the 3-day Show. Copies of the hotel bill must be submitted to the Council) to all exhibitors located 50 kms away from the venue of the event.
