We have received a message from the Trade Defence Wing in Directorate General of Trade Remedies informing the Council that they are in the process of analysing the Anti-dumping investigations conducted by different investigation Authorities against Indian Exporters/ Domestic Industry. This exercise is being undertaken to understand the procedures followed by the other Investigating Authorities and to see if they are complying with the WTO norms or not.
For the purpose the Directorate has sent us the Proforma (download), which needs to be duly filled by member-exporters of the Council who have been subject to Anti-dumping Investigations.
Members are requested to fill in the details (and send it to mr@srtepc.in) regarding each investigation wherein the exporters/ producers/ associations have participated and provide feedback regarding any discrepancies or WTO incompatibility faced in those investigations.
The last date for receiving the attached Proforma is 28th May, 2019.
