Sub.: Export Promotion: Extending credit facilities to exporters

Dear Member,

The Council has received a communication from the State Bank of India (SBI) regarding the following facilities extended to exporters by them:

• Credit facilities for meeting the pre–shipment and post-shipment requirements of the exporters in rupees and foreign currency.

• Foreign bills discounting at competitive interest rates and service charges.

• The Regional Treasury Marketing Units of SBI provides views to the customers on exchange rate movements regularly.
