Sub.: CBIC amend Courier Regulations

Dear Member,

We would like to inform you that CBIC has made amendments in Courier Regulations vide following notifications:

Notification No. 73/2019–Customs (N.T.) dated 9^th October, 2019 – Notification to amend Courier Regulations, 1998

CBIC has amended the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998. These regulations shall be called the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Second Amendment Regulations, 2019 and shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Notification No.74/2019–Customs (N.T.) dated 9^th October, 2019 – Notification to amend Courier Regulations, 2010

CBIC has amended the Courier Imports and Exports (Electronic Declaration and Processing) Regulations, 2010. These regulations shall be called the Courier Imports and Exports (Electronic Declaration and Processing) Second Amendment Regulations, 2019 and shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Members may kindly make a note of the above amendments.
