As you may be aware, in the past, the window under iTUFS was kept open for a month for lodging quarter-wise committed liability beyond quarter ending March 2017 (i.e., from June 2017 quarter onwards). But, the banks / lending agencies did not submit the same for all accounts.
Subsequently, O/o Textile Commissioner had advised the CMDs of all banks to complete the process by 30th September 2019 and the timeline was extended till 31st October, 2019.
Now, O/o Textile Commissioner vide their Public Notice No.12(10)/IMSC/A-TUFS/2019/TUFS/ dated 1st November, 2019 has informed that the accounts where the banks have not lodged the subsidy claims are not appearing in the iTUFS portal for physical verification of the machinery procured under ongoing subsidy accounts pertaining to previous versions of TUFS (i.e., MTUFS, RTUFS and RRTUFS) by JIT and they would appear in the portal to upload the six prescribed documents only after the subsidy claims are lodged by the banks / lending agencies.
In view of the above, banks/lending agencies are requested to lodge subsidy claims against the committed liabilities submitted online by them and upload the prescribed six documents by 30th November, 2019. O/o Textile Commissioner has also reiterated that NO EXTENSION MAY BE REQUESTED AND MAY NOT BE GIVEN.
Members are requested to kindly follow up with their banks and avail the last and final opportunity.
