Sub: Change in MEIS rates

Dear Member,

As you are aware, DGFT had notified additional 2% rate under MEIS for certain products vide following Public Notices –

• Public Notice No. 44 dated 05^th December, 2017 (Valid from 1.11.2017 to 30.6.2018)

• Public Notice No.02 dated 01^st May, 2018 (Valid from 1.11.2017 to 30.6.2018)

• Public Notice No. 13 dated 12^th June, 2018 (not relevant to our MMF Sector)

• Public Notice No. 28 dated 08^th August, 2018 (not relevant to our MMF Sector)

(Some of the MMF products are covered under the above Public Notices)

These additional rates for our MMF products given in Public Notice Nos. 44 dated 5^th December, 2017 and 2 dated 1^st May, 2018 were continued vide Public Notice No. 7 dated 11^th May, 2018.

With regard to the above, O/o DGFT has now issued Public Notice No. 47/2015 –20 dated 7^th December, 2019.

Please note that except for the MEIS entries/ products listed in the Annexure to Public Notice No. 47/2015 –20, additional 2% rates under MEIS mentioned in the Public Notice No. 44 dtd. 5^th December, 2017, No. 2 dtd. 1^st May, 2018, No. 13 dtd. 12^th June, 2018 and No. 28 dtd. 8^th August, 2018 shall be available for exports with Let Export date till 31^st December, 2019
