After the resounding success of Source India 2018 and Source India 2019, we are glad to inform you that as part of an exclusive Export Promotion Program of the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, SRTEPC , is scheduled to co-organize  the flagship program of the Ministry of Textiles -- “Textiles India” 2020.  The mega event of textiles is scheduled to be held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida for 3 days from 29th to 31st July, 2020.

“Textiles India” is being co-organized by SRTEPC in association with the other Textile Export Promotion Councils (TEXPROCIL, WWEPC, ISEPC, PDEXCIL, AEPC, HEPC, EPCH, CEPC & NJB) with the objective of aggressive promotion of Indian textiles of all varieties including synthetic & blended (MMF) textiles , covering fabrics, made-ups, yarn, fibre, home textiles, accessories and garments to  the discerning global customers of textiles - covering the textile value chain.  The program offers a tailor-made opportunity for members to conclude profitable business deals with a large number of visiting International buyers in India without exorbitant costs and hassles of travel abroad. 

Benefits of participation in “Textiles India” 2020

  • An exclusive exposure to nearly 2000 foreign buyers of different product groups of textiles & apparels across continents to explore business under one roof for 3 days. This will ensure the presence of a large number of invited foreign buyers to respective booths of participating Indian companies.

  • SRTEPC will be inviting 150-200 buyers from the MMF textiles sector from more than 40 leading markets covering USA, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Turkey, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Bangladesh.

  • The star attraction of the SRTEPC initiative will be Business Meetings (B2B) on one-to-one basis, which will be organized by the Council based on product profiles of buyers & sellers for negotiating business at an exclusive Business Lounge in the Fair.

  • SRTEPC will use the global platform of “Textiles India” to reach out to buyers who are also sourcing their requirements of textiles from China.  This will also offer an opportunity to Indian companies to fill in the huge gaps in supplies that have been suddenly created due to the outbreak of Corona virus in China to project India as the ideal alternate ‘Go To’ destination for international buyers to source their requirement of textiles.

  • Around 1000 Indian companies will display a fabulous range of textiles of different product categories -- fabrics, made-ups, yarn & fibre, home textiles, accessories and garments.  These include synthetic & blended (MMF) textiles, Cotton textiles (TEXPROCIL), Wool & Woolen products (WWEPC), Silk (ISEPC), Apparels (AEPC), Carpets (CEPC) & Handicraft items (EPCH) including Handloom and Jute products.

  • On the sidelines of Textiles India, Partner Country (USA)/Focus Countries(Japan & South Korea)/Partner States and Seminars, Fashion Shows, dedicated sector specific Theme Pavilions, Networking Dinners, etc. will also be organized.

Publicity & Promotion

“Textiles India” 2020 - mega Buyers-Sellers Meet will widely be promoted to attract leading foreign buyers by launching a “high decibel Publicity Campaign” in all the prominent markets of textiles across the world through Road Shows, high level business delegations, social media, websites, brochures/catalogues/flyers, among others.  All the Indian Missions and their Wings abroad are being geared up through the appropriate channels of Govt. of India to widely promote “Textiles India” 2020.

Invitation of International Buyers

150-200 foreign buyers will be invited by SRTEPC with complimentary facilities under the MAI Scheme of the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India from more than 40 leading markets of textiles across the world, as mentioned above, to ensure success of the event.  Senior Sourcing Executives of the leading international Buying Houses/Retail Chain Stores - will also be present at the Program.   Buyers will be identified, evaluated and selected by SRTEPC with expert help and active guidance of the respective Indian Missions in each country, and with the assistance of the Int’l textile Trade Bodies/Chambers, etc.

The Council proposes to offer participation of more than 100 member-companies ---- producing/exporting suitings, shirtings, dress materials, fashion fabrics, home textiles, technical textiles, made-ups, yarn & fibre on first-come-first-served basis for participation in the mega Buyers-Sellers Meet.  We are confident you would not like to miss this unique platform to explore business opportunities with nearly 2000 leading buyers under one roof for 3 days.  The details of participation fees and availability of space/booths are being worked out, and the same will be communicated to you shortly.
