Sub.: CBIC further extends the period of validity of existing Export Performance Certificates for FY 2019-20 up to 30.09.2020
Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that CBIC has issued Notification No.23/2020- Customs dated 14th May, 2020 by making amendments in the Notification No. 50/2017- Customs dated 30th June, 2017, so as to extend the period of validity of existing Export Performance Certificates for FY 2019-20 up to 30th September, 2020.
Relevant extract of the notification is given here-below:
In the said notification, following amendments have been made in the ANNEXURE, –
(v) in Condition No. 33, in Condition (c), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:‑
“Provided that the validity of the said certificate, issued for the financial year 2019-20, upto the period of 31st March, 2020, shall be extended upto 30th September, 2020 for import of unutilised value and quantity of goods specified in the said certificate.”;
Members may kindly make a note of the above amendments.
