Sub: Anti-dumping Investigation initiated by Mexico on import of Polyester Textured Filament Yarn – Extension of last date for responding to the Questionnaire.
This is in continuation to our earlier circulars regarding initiationof Anti-dumping Investigation by Mexico on import of Polyester Textured Filament Yarn covered under HS Code 54023300 originating from India and People’s Republic of China.
The last date for responding to the Questionnaireof the investigation fixed by the Mexican authority earlier was 14th May 2020. However, in view of the nationwide ongoing lockdown in India, this Council had written to the Embassy of India based in Mexican City and also to Ministry of Commerce & Industry to request the Mexican authority for extension of the last date for responding to the Questionnaire.
We are glad to inform that the request of this Council has been considered positively by the Mexican Authority andthe last date for responding to the Questionnaire of the Anti-dumping Investigation initiated by Mexico on import of Polyester Textured Filament Yarn covered under HS Code 54023300,has been extended to 11th of June, 2020.
It is to reiterate that thetime period of the investigation is July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
Member-exporters are requested take note of the above information and do the desired needful.
