CBIC extends due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for supply made in the month of August, 2020 for taxpayers with annual turnover up to Rs. 5 crore

Dear Member,

This is inform that CBIC has issued Notification No. 53/2020-Central Tax dated 24th June, 2020 by making amendments in Notification  No. 29/2020 – Central Tax, dated 23rd March, 2020  in order to extend due date for furnishing FORM GSTR-3B for supply made in the month of August, 2020 for taxpayers with annual turnover up to Rs. 5 crore.

Taxpayers having an aggregate turnover of up to rupees five crore in the previous financial year and whose principal place of business is in the following States/ Union Territories shall furnish the return in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of August, 2020 on or before 1st October, 2020-

1. Chhattisgarh, 

2. Madhya Pradesh, 

3. Gujarat, 

4. Maharashtra, 

5. Karnataka, 

6. Goa, 

7. Kerala, 

8. Tamil Nadu, 

9. Telangana, 

10. Andhra Pradesh, 

11. Union territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep.

Taxpayers having an aggregate turnover of up to rupees five crore in the previous financial year and whose principal place of business is in the following States/ Union Territories shall furnish the return in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of August, 2020 on or before 3rd October, 2020-

1. Himachal Pradesh, 

2. Punjab, 

3. Uttarakhand, 

4. Haryana, 

5. Rajasthan, 

6. Uttar Pradesh, 

7. Bihar, 

8. Sikkim, 

9. Arunachal Pradesh, 

10. Nagaland, 

11. Manipur, 

12. Mizoram, 

13. Tripura, 

14. Meghalaya, 

15. Assam, 

16. West Bengal, 

17. Jharkhand or Odisha, 

18. the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Chandigarh or Delhi
