Sub: Meeting of Zonal Addl. DGFT – Ms. Kavita Gupta with Chief Commissioner of Customs, JNPT – Shri B.B.Prasad
Dear Sir,
We are glad to inform you that Ms. Kavita Gupta, Addl. DGFT Mumbai would be holding a Meeting with Shri B.B. Prasad, Chief Commissioner of Customs, JNPT during this month, February, 2015, since Shri B.B.Prasad will be completing his tenure.
The objective of the proposed meeting is to discuss various issues related to Imports and Exports, Custom Policies and Procedures and operational problems with JNPT Customs.
It has been observed that exporters from time to time have been facing problems with JNPT Customs regarding Delay in receiving Drawback Claims, clarification on descriptions, delay in customs clearance etc. Hence, this is an opportune time specially given to us to resolve the pending issues in the above matters, in a High level Meeting represented by different Heads of Department.
We therefore request you to please send us your points by e-mail, latest by Monday 16th February, 2015 to enable us to send these issue to the office of Addl. DGFT for taking it up suitably at the above Meeting, which is scheduled to be held by end of February, 2015.
