MMF Textile Industry Delegation to Vietnam
You may be aware that the Indian Government has offered a Line of Credit of US $ 300 million to Vietnam for developing textile trade between India and Vietnam.
As a sequel to the developments, it is proposed that Vietnam will now facilitate Indian companies to set up units in an existing textile park in Vietnam, without any direct financial incentives from the Government of India.
It is therefore proposed to identify Indian companies that are keen to invest in Vietnam and send a delegation of these interested Indian companies to visit some of the textile parks in Vietnam shortlisted by Exim Bank.
The final selection of the textile park location would have to be done by the companies themselves, the Ministry will assist them in obtaining the best possible terms from central and provincial Governments.
