The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council

Data pertaining to Exports

9th July,2015

To: Members of the Council,

Dear Sir/s,

As you are aware, exports are passing through a tough time for last few quarters both on account of sluggish global trade as well as domestic constraints.

In the first quarter of the current fiscal, exports of Indian MMF Textiles April-June 2015 declined by over 2%. Much of the decline is stated to be on account of fall in global crude and petroleum prices and domestic policy constrains.

The order booking position of most of the companies show a declining trend which reflect a challenging times ahead. It is important for us to gauge the extent of decline so that we caution the Government and ask them to revisit the strategy for supporting exports .

We sincerely urge you to fill the online form by following the link.
