African Textile Market: One of the main exports from India to Africa is textiles and different kinds of garments & clothing. Both African and Indian cultures are based on certain clothing traditions, and this is always going to be a developing market.  Plus, the textiles coming from India are exported at a fair price which is very important for the African importers. Clothes will always be a must and a basic necessity which is why they are a great opportunity for an Indian exporter. Regulations are light and less rigid when it comes to exporting goods, and Indian materials are very appreciated by African people regardless of their social status. The global demand for African textiles and clothing has been growing for years and African patterns are now recognised as being truly fashionable and iconic.  International fashion brands have increasingly been integrating African styles into their latest collections.

Textiles and clothing offer huge opportunities for countries looking to industrialise. African markets are fast developing and due to special preferences from US & European countries, they have become preferred suppliers for many developed markets.  With the development of readymade garment manufacturing, the demand for MMFT raw material is fast increasing and holds big opportunity for Indian manufacturers.
