Sub: DGFT extends due date for modification of IEC for the year 2021-22 till 31.07.2021 and waives of fees for IEC updation during July, 2021
Dear Member,
As you are aware, DGFT had issued Notification No. 58/2015-2020 Dt. 12.02.2021 making it mandatory for an IEC holder to update details in IEC code annually between April to June and also advised that even if there is no change in IEC details, the same needs to be also confirmed online.
Therefore, all IEC code holders had to update it’s details on the DGFT website till 30th June, 2021 or their IEC code would be suspended.
We are now glad to inform you that O/o DGFT vide Notification No. 11/2015-20 dated 1st July, 2021 has extended the period of modification of IEC from 30th June, 2021 till 31st July, 2021 and has also waived off the fees for IEC updation during July, 2021.
In this regard, DGFT provision in Para 2.05 (d) is also revised -
