Sub: Highlights of the 22nd TAMC meeting under ATUFS held on 5th July 2021
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the 22nd meeting of the Technical Advisory cum Monitoring Committee (TAMC) under ATUFS was held on 5th July, 2021 at 4.00 pm through video conferencing which was chaired by Ms. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, IA&AS, Textile Commissioner. On behalf of the Council, Shri S.Balaraju, Executive Director attended the meeting.
Given below are the highlights of the meeting:
- TAMC ratified the inclusion of Rabobank (Cooperative Rabobank U.A.) and Cooperative Bank of Rajkot Ltd. as lending agencies under ATUFS.
- Since the enlistment of over 10,000 accessories/spare parts/attachments manufacturers is a time-consuming process, the TAMC might recommend to IMSC to approve 20% of basic machinery cost for accessories/spare parts/attachments without enlisting the manufacturers of the same.
- TAMC might recommend for the condonation of delay in submitting JIT request even after two years (totally 2,431 cases) i.e., after getting one year extension from O/o TxC arised due to COVID-19 pandemic.
- Industry requested for the enlistment of machinery that formed using machinery from more than one manufacturer provided each manufacturer is enlisted under ATUFS or the technology provided meets the benchmarked technology of the scheme. TAMC might form a sub-committee to discuss and approve the list of such machinery.
