Sub: RoDTEP Scheme: Rates and Guidelines announced
Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that O/o DGFT has issued Notification No. 19/2015-20 dated 17th August, 2021 by notifying the guidelines and rates of the much-awaited Scheme for Remission of Duties and Taxes and Exported Products (RoDTEP). In this regard, a Press Release has also been issued by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry on 17th August, 2021.
The Council expresses our sincere gratitude to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Textiles, Finance and Commerce & Industry for notifying the RoDTEP Scheme. The Council also thanks our members for their kind cooperation and support in substantiating the data, as and when required by the Council for calculating the RoDTEP Rates.
Members may please download the following attachments for the Guidelines and Rates of the new RoDTEP Scheme on MMF Textile items:
1. Guidelines on RoDTEP Scheme - Refer to DGFT’s Notification No. 19/2015-20 dated 17th August, 2021.
2. RoDTEP rates for products covered under Chapter 54 – 60
Note: No RoDTEP Rates announced for Chapters 61-63 [Made-ups & Apparels] as RoSCTL Rates are fixed for these items.
3. Statement of RoDTEP rates for the major items of MMF Textiles under the RoDTEP Scheme.
Members are requested to kindly go through the RoDTEP Schedule and send us your feedback/suggestions especially on anomalies if any, i.e. classification/ description of items and RoDTEP Rates/Caps etc., latest by 26th August, 2021 to ed@srtepc.in, sybil@srtepc.in, annie@srtepc.in so that the same can be taken up with the Government at the earliest. Your quick response in this matter shall be highly appreciated.
