Virtual Buyer Seller Meet on 22.06.2022 to increase trade with Japan

TO MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL, 

This is to inform that as a part of Memorandum of Understanding signed between Textile Committee (TC) and Nissenken Quality Evaluation Centre in Japan, a Virtual Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) is organized by the Textile Committee tentatively on 22^nd June 2022 at 1 pm (Japan time – 5 pm) for disseminating the technical and business information to the textile buyers in Japan for strengthening India’s export to Japan.  The Products identified for BSM are as follows :  

1. List of sustainable products of recycled Cotton, recycled Polyester, Organic Cotton sustainable Denim, Fabric made of Banana Stalk etc. 
2. List of functional products having Antiviral Finish, Antibacterial Finish, Water Absorption and Quick Dry Finish (Knit items) etc.  
3. List of items produced by traditional Indian Craftsmanship like Hand Woven Fabric, Hand Embroidery, Hand Craft, etc. 
4. Introduction of items and factories capable of handling small lots. 
5. Introduction of factories/companies who are Certified as Socially Responsible (CSR). 
6. Items produced from traditional Indian Crafts

In view of the above, members, who are interested to interact with Japanese buyers on the above products, are requested to send their details to the Council on the basis of the following points :

5. Items of interest for discussion  
    

Since the seats are limited for interaction with Japanese buyers, the above details will be accepted on FCFS basis.
