Sub: 2nd Joint Working Group Meeting on Trade and Economic Cooperation between India and Uzbekistan to he held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 22nd June 2022
Dear Members,
The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has informed this Council about the 2nd Joint Working Group Meeting on Trade and Economic Cooperation between India and Uzbekistan to be held on 22nd June 2022 in Tashkent and visit of a trade delegation to Uzbekistan has been planned from 23rd to 25th June 2022 to different industrial clusters in Uzbekistan.
The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is likely to finalize and share with Uzbek side the list of delegation on 14th June 2022.
We are glad to inform that the DoC is requesting the Council to suggest names of the member-exporters interested to be a part in the delegation to Tashkent in Uzbekistan at their own cost to explore the potential to invest in the textiles and other sectors in Uzbekistan.
