Sub: Invitation to Participation in the Celebration of the International Day of Yoga 2022 at Marine Drive.
The Government of India has through an Office Memorandum dated 15th June 2022, advised the Council along with other Textile Export Promotion Councils in Mumbai to celebrate the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2022 on 21st June 2022 at the Marine Drive, with physical participation of Member-exporters in large number.
This is the 8th International Day of Yoga celebration. The Theam of the IDY 2022 is “Yoga for Humanity” and the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles is the Nodal Officer to celebrate the IDY 2022 at the Marine Drive in Mumbai.
Member-exporters of the Council may be aware that all over the country, the Government of India has been celebrating "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" (AKAM) and therefore the Ministry of Textiles is requesting for special celebration this year with larger participation of industry representatives.
The details of the celebration of International Yoga Day 2022 at Marine Drive, Mumbai are as follows:
Date : Tuesday, 21st June 2022
Time : 6 am to 7.30 am
Venue : Marine Drive (Mumbai)
The necessary arrangements are being made to celebrate the event more comfortably.
Interested Members are requested to kindly confirm to the Council by email srtepc@srtepc.in latest by Monday 20th June 2022 and be present at the venue in advance to celebrate the International Day of Yoga 2022. On participation in the IDY 2022, participants will receive a Certificate. For receiving the Participating Certificate members are requested to kindly register on line http://yogaregistration.nic.in/idy2022/.
