Sub: Electronic sealing-deposit in and removal of goods from Customs Bonded warehouse- Deferment of Circular-19/2018-Customs dated 18^th June, 2018

Dear Member,

Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No. ES/ 259/2018-19 dated 25^th October, 2018 wherein CBIC had issued Circular No. 39/2018- Customs dated 23^rd October, 2018 clarifying that RFID seals should be procured from the destination warehouse in case of warehouse to warehouse transfer w.e.f 1^st November, 2018.

Now, CBIC has issued Circular No. 41/2018- Customs dated 30^th October, 2018 extending the date of implementation to 1^st January, 2019 in order to enable establishment of infrastructure and procurement of seals by warehouse owners.
