Sub: Updated status on IGST/ GST refunds
Dear Member,
During the recent visit of Secretary (Textiles), Shri Raghvendra Singh to Mumbai, the Chairman of the Council bought to his notice the huge pendency of IGST/ GST refunds of our members. The Secretary (Textiles) informed that as per the data received from the Council the IGST/ GST pending is not much.
In this regard, please note that the process to provide the pending IGST/ GST refund is lengthy and all our recommendations are being forwarded by the Ministry of Textiles to the Ministry of Finance. Due to relentless efforts of the Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Finance, the issues have been resolved at a greater extent.
We would like to inform you that the Council has been persistently following with our members for procuring of the above data. It has been noticed by the Council that only few members have been replying to our mails by giving us the updated as well as the pending data but most of the members do not provide the updated information.
In view of the above, we once again request you to kindly provide us the information for resolving the issue in the given format latest by tomorrow i.e. 20th November, 2018 by 12.00 noon to es@srtepc.in so that the actual pendency position can be informed to the Ministry for speedy processing of the refunds.
