Sub.: DGFT extends exemption of Integrated Goods & Service Tax (IGST) & Compensation Cess under Advance Authorisation, EPCG and EOU Scheme upto 31st March, 2020
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No. ES/227/2018-19 dated 27th September, 2018 in which O/o DGFT had issued Notification No. 35/2015-20 dated 26th September, 2018 extending the date of exemption of IGST & Compensation Cess under Advance Authorisation, EPCG and EOU scheme upto 31st March, 2019.
Now, we would like to inform you that O/o DGFT has issued Notification No.57/2015-20 dated 20th March, 2019 making amendments in FTP 2015-20. These amendments is with regards to extension of exemption from Integrated Goods and Service Tax (IGST) & Compensation Cess under Advance Authorisation, EPCG and EOU Schemes upto 31st March, 2020.
The amendments in the above Notification will have an effect in Para 4.14 (Details of Duties exempted), Para 5.01 (a) (EPCH Scheme) & Para 6.01 (d) (ii) (Export and Import of Goods) under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020.
Members may please make a note of the above amendments.
