Sub: Interaction with stakeholders of identified lines: DVC with Eol Washington DC
The Council has received a communication from the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry that a meeting is scheduled to be held with EPCs under the Chairmanship of Commerce Secretary on 25th June 2019 at New Delhi to discuss the opportunities to enhance India’s exports to USA, in wake of recent announcement by both USA and China to increase tariffs on imports of each other’s goods.
In this regard, a line wise analysis has been done and potential lines have been identified where India can potentially expand export to both China and USA based on its strengths and available market access. A copy of the analysis is given in the following link:

Member-Exporters are, therefore, requested to identify the lines of your interest with reference to the enclosed analysis and give your views and suggestions to enable us to submit an Action-plan to the Govt.
The desired information should be sent latest by 21st June, 2019 (Friday) to the Council at mr@srtepc.in and ed@srtepc.in to enable the Council to do the needful in the matter.
