CBIC extends the last date for furnishing FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter April – June 2019 till 31st August, 2019

Sub.: CBIC extends the last date for furnishing FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter April – June 2019 till 31^st August, 2019                

Dear Member

Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No.ES/95/2019-20 dated July 19, 2019 in which CBIC had issued Notification No. 34/2019- Central Tax dated 18th July, 2019 notifying the extension for filing returns by the composition dealers in Form GST CMP-08 for the quarter April – June, 2019, or part thereof, till 31^st July, 2019.

Now, CBIC has issued Notification No. 35/2019 – Central Tax dated 29^th July, 2019 extending the last date for furnishing FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter April – June 2019 till 31^st August, 2019.

Members may kindly make a note of the above changes.
