Sub.: National Level Time Release Study (TRS) from 03.09.2019 to 09.09.2019
Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that Air Cargo Complex (Sahar) has issued Public Notice No.19/2019 dated 30th August, 2019 informing that CBIC is conducting a National Level Time Release Study (TRS) from 3rd September, 2019 to 9th September, 2019.
TRS is a strategic and internationally recognized tool to measure the actual time required for the release and/or clearance of goods, from the time of arrival until the physical release of cargo.
This National Level Time Release Study is carried by M/s. KPMG engaged by Government of India. The Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai is among six Air Cargo’s selected for the study.
The primary objective, as per action plan, is to conduct Time Release Study in order to eventually bring down the overall cargo release time.
In view of the above, Air Cargo Complex has requested the members of Trade and officers from all the PGAs for making the Time Release Study effective and successful. TRS published by the Research Team under the National Committee on Trade Facilitation (NCTF) will be used for further policy decision by Government of India.
