Extension of timeline for submission of JIT request by condoned units

Sub: Extension of timeline for submission of JIT request by condoned units

Dear Member,

As you may be aware, during the 4^th IMSC meeting under ATUFS, it was decided to seek extension of timeline to submit the JIT request beyond 2 years for 1,393 cases pending for UID generation under RRTUFS which were later opted for ATUFS and 455 cases given condonation during 3^rd IMSC due to the delay by banks in adhering to the timeline.

We would like to inform you that O/o Textile Commissioner has issued Circular No. 12(10)/IMSC/ATUFS/2019 dated 24^th October 2019 stated that the IMSC has given extension for 1,848 cases to submit their JIT request in iTUFS portal.

The JIT request should be submitted in iTUFS portal latest by 5.00 pm on 10^th November, 2019. UID of the units failing to adhere to the timeline will be cancelled and no further request in this regard will be entertained by the O/o TxC.

Member are requested to kindly submit their JIT request before the timeline as there will be no extension provided in this regard in future.
