Sub: Amendment in Export Policy of Personal Protective Equipment/Mask

Dear Member,

Vide Notification No. 48/2015-20 dated 25^th February, 2020, DGFT has amended the earlier Notification No. 47/2015-20 dated 8^th February, 2020 and allowed export of certain items, with immediate effect.

All Personal Protection Equipment including Clothing and Masks {Coveralls (Class 2/3/4) and N-95 Masks}.

Prohibited

However, the following items are freely exportable:

Surgical Masks/ Disposable Masks (2/3 Ply)
All Gloves except NBR Gloves.
All Ophthalmic instruments and appliances under ITC HS 901850 except Medical goggles.
Surgical blades
Non–woven Shoe covers (Disposable)
Breathing appliances used by Airmen, Divers, Mountaineers or Firemen.
Gas masks with chemical absorbent for filtration against poisonous vapor, smoke, gases.
HDPE Tarpaulin / Plastic Tarpaulin
PVC Conveyor Belt
Biopsy Punch
