Sub: Upload Bank Guarantee (BG) on or before 12th October 2020 to get advance release of TUFS subsidy  

Dear Member, 

In light of the extraordinary circumstances witnessed in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, the Ministry of Textiles has announced a one-time opportunity for advance release of TUFS subsidy to the units based on the submission of valid BG vide their notification no. 16021/5/2019-TUFS dated 13th April 2020 and requested the units to submit their willingness in iTUFS portal. 

Now, the Office of the Textile Commissioner (O/oTxC) vide their communication F.No.12(1)/ATUFS/Policy/2019/TUFS/Del. of Fin Prs/3 dated 4th June 2020 has informed that, out of 967 units who have recorded their willingness in iTUFS portal to avail the advance TUFS subsidy against BG under ATUFS and RRTUFS only 8 units have uploaded the BG in iTUFS portal, (list enclosed in Annexure).

Since the last date to upload the BG in iTUFS portal is 12th October 2020, the mills who have opted for the advance TUFS subsidy are requested to upload the BG in iTUFS portal immediately and avail the COVID-19 assistance provided by Government.

The communication issued by O/oTxC in this regard and the list of mills opted for the advance TUFS subsidy are enclosed for the reference of member mills.
