Sub: Compliance Information Portal (CIP) by CBIC
Dear Member,
We have received a communication from the Commissioner (Single Window) CBIC, New Delhi informing us that under the National Single Window Project, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) is developing the Compliance Information Portal (CIP) to provide procedural and regulatory information on import and export of goods, besides the duty structure.
The Compliance Information Portal (CIP) aims to give Customs Tariff Heading (CTH) wise information for 10000 plus CTHs. It gives stage wise steps and procedures and also information about regulatory agencies, their location etc. The portal can be visited at https://www.cip.cbic.gov.in.
At this development stage, it is decided to get feedback on the portal.
As a valued member of the Council, you are, therefore, requested to visit the portal and kindly give your valuable feedback at the link provided below with a copy marked to the Council to ed@srtepc.in, sybil@srtepc.in, annie@srtepc.in:

You are also requested to forward this to your known sources so that CBIC may get as many feedbacks as possible and the same may be intimated to them for improving on the portal.
