Sub:  Launch of e-Office in O/o Chief Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva

Dear Member,

We are pleased to inform you that JNCH has issued Public Notice No.98/2020 dated 10th August, 2020 on the above subject.

The E-Office application has been developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Govt. of India, to carry out office work electronically in Chief Commissioner of Customs Unit (CCCU), Nhava Sheva.

This application is designed to establish a paperless environment in Nhava Sheva for increasing efficiency, transparency, effectiveness, convenience, and accountability and for better services.

We request all our members who operate from Nhava Sheva Customs to utilize this electronic means of communication with the CCCU, Nhava Sheva, since the e-Office application requires PDF files.

It would be convenient if letters sent to the CCCU by electronic means are in PDF format and better if they are in searchable mode.

We request our members to please mention your mobile number and email in the communications so as to receive the Diary Number allotted to the communication, This can be used as a reference for future communication.

Members may kindly make a note of the above and do the needful.
