IMPORTANT & URGENT

Dear Sir,

Re: Change of Authorised Representative for participation in the Election.

Please refer to our Circular No.ED/MEM/1732 dtd. 21^st August, 2020 informing you about the Annual General Meeting of the Council to be held on 30^th September 2020. In this regard, we wish to reiterate that only the authorised representatives of the Ordinary Members whose names have been registered in the Council are eligible to vote and stand for election.

In view of the above, you are requested to kindly intimate the name of your Authorised Representative latest by 24^th August, 2020  and also email a copy of his Pan Card so as to enable us to update our records.

Please note that in case you do not send the name of the Authorized Representative, your existing representative name as mentioned above will be recognised and accepted for the purpose of election. 

Also kindly note that as per the Articles of Association of the Council, the  rules regarding the representative are as follows:

• A sole proprietary firm or Hindu undivided family shall be represented by its proprietor or Karta, as the case may be.
• A partnership firm shall be represented by any one of the partners authorised by the firm.
• Any Body, Corporate, Company or Co-operative Society or other Corporation which is a member of this Council shall, by a resolution of its Board of Directors or other Governing body, authorize any of its Director or any person as it thinks fit to act as its representative at any meeting of the Council or of the Committee.
