Sub: FINAL REMINDER- Inviting data/information for the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported products (RoDTEP)
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular seeking data for calculating the RoDTEP Rates with a request to submit the filled-in Proformas (R1, R2 & R3) by 21st September, 2020. However, the relevant data is yet to be received from you.
In this connection, we would like to inform you that the RoDTEP Committee has been constituted, and the Committee has started the preparatory work for the determination of the RoDTEP Rates.
In this regard, we would like to inform you that the RoDTEP Scheme shall replace the current Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS). The new RoDTEP Scheme will reimburse all the taxes/duties/levies being charged at the Central/State/Local level which are not currently refunded under any of the existing schemes that are incurred at the manufacturing and distribution process.
We once again request our members to kindly fill-in the details required in the Proformas to the best of your ability and send it to us positively today or latest by tomorrow i.e 26th or 27th September, 2020 (Sunday) at the following email ids (ed@srtepc.in; sybil@srtepc.in; annie@srtepc.in) for enabling us to consolidate the proposals and submit the same to the Drawback Division for consideration within the specified time.
In case, we do not receive any reply from you in this regard, we will be forced to send the calculations without inclusion of your product. The calculations will be prepared as per the data available with the Council and shall be forwarded to the Committee.
Your kind support and prompt response in this regard will help us to enable favorable RoDTEP rates for your MMF Textile product(s).
