Sub: Study on Import Intensity of India’s Export - Textiles.

Sirs,

It is to inform you that the Council has received a communication from the Tariff Commission, Government of India regarding a study undertaken by this Commission on Import Intensity of India’s exports at the behest of Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

The Tariff Commission has designed a Questionnaire to capture basic data/ information in respect of imported raw materials used in the manufacture of major exported products as per the enclosed format.

In this regard, the Council would like to request the Members for the below-mentioned inputs positively on or before Monday, 9 November 2020.

1. Reply to the Questionnaire (download) with the desired inputs in respect of the HS Codes pertaining to your company.
2. A copy of the Cost Audit Report (if available) for the last 3 years 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19.

The above-sought inputs are requested to be sent through e-mail at ed@srtepc.in, baruah@srtepc.in.
