Sub: DGFT issues Public Notice and Notification with regard to – Incorporating a new Appendix & Amendment of General Notes No.10 regarding Import Policy.
Dear Sir,
DGFT has vide Public Notice No. 32/2015-2020 dated 4th September, 2015 amended the Appendices under Foreign Trade Policy, 201 5 – 20 by incorporating a new Appendix to be known as Appendix–2X enlisting the following countries - I. European Union (EU) Countries , II. Serbia, III. Poland, IV. Denmark and V. China; wherefrom import of Textiles and Textile Articles is exempted from testing of samples for presence of Azo Dyes as per General Notes 10(III) as incorporated vide Notification No. 19/2015-2020, dated 4th September, 201 5.
Simultaneously, DGFT has issued Notification No.19/2015-2020 dated 4th September, 2015 amending General Notes No.10 of Import Policy under ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy).
Moreover, the amended General Notes No.10 has set guidelines for Textile and Textile Articles Containing Hazardous Dyes.
