      Sub: Renewal of Council's Membership for the year 2022-2023 through DGFT portal

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      We would like to bring to your notice that the renewal of membership for the 2022-23 is due for your company. Please find attached Subscription Memo for renewal of your Membership of the Council towards the same.

      As you are aware the DGFT has made it mandatory to issue/renewal (https://tinyurl.com/mr9ebs5f) of RCMC through DGFT portal only. We would like to inform you that the Council has made all arrangements for online renewal of membership through DGFT portal. You will be able to renew your membership online through the website: https://www.dgft.gov.in w.e.f. 1st April 2022. You may find the complete process for online renewal of RCMC through DGFT by following this link https://tinyurl.com/dgftrcmc.

      Kindly note that the renewal of membership annual fee is Rs. 12331/-. However, for S.S.I Units, the fees will be Rs. 8201/-. Please do note that the SSI fees (Rs 8,201) are eligible to the companies holding valid Udyam Certificate for Micro/Small enterprise category only. Companies falling under the MEDIUM category will fall under Non-SSI fees category (Rs 12,331/-). The above said fees also include the G.S.T. charge @ 18%. The Membership fee should be paid latest by 30th April 2022.

      We would like to bring to your attention that non-payment of the membership fee will lead to the cancellation of membership and consequently the cancellation of Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) granted as per the direction of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 of the Government of India.

      The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) was established in 1954 by the Government of India, Ministry of Textiles. The Council has its Head Office in Mumbai and Regional Offices in Delhi & Surat. Membership at present is around 4000. 

      SRTEPC in service to Member Exporters:
      In order to help the Indian manufacturers exporters to compete successfully in the world markets, the Council renders assistance as follows:

      • Identify markets for their products.
      • Introduce them to appropriate overseas importers.
      • Assist them financially or otherwise in their efforts.
      • Advise them on situations in the different overseas markets by conducting studies & surveys.
      • Provide opportunities to give them and their products exposure in the overseas markets by sponsoring their delegations and items.
      • Advise them on import export policy and procedures.
      • Resolve their problems about shipping and transport.
      • Maintain liaison with the authorities to convey to them the requirements of industry and trade and arrange adaptation of policy framework accordingly.

      Fee for New Membership

      Non-S.S.I. Units: Rs.13,629/- [Annual Subscription of Rs.10,000/- entrance fee of Rs.1,000/-, a fee of Rs.300/- for publications, a fee of Rs. 150 towards SRTEPC development and a fee of Rs. 100 for RCMC Certificate  + GST 18% (2,079/-)] .

      S.S.I. Units(Small/Tiny): Rs.9,499/-. [Annual Subscription of Rs.6,500/- entrance fee of Rs.1,000/-, a fee of Rs.300/- for publications, a fee of Rs. 150 towards SRTEPC development and a fee of Rs. 100 for RCMC Certificate + GST 18% (1,499/-)].(Valid permanent SSI certificate required)

      The Registration Cum Membership Certificate will be valid for a period of five years, subject to the renewal of membership every year of the Council, ending on 31st March of the licensing year. The membership renewal fee is payable at the beginning of each financial year, i.e. from 1st April. The Certificate shall be deemed to be valid from 1st April of the licensing year, in which it was issued.

      Non-S.S.I. Units: Rs.12,331/- [Annual Subscription of Rs.10,000/-, a fee of Rs.300/- for publications and a fee of Rs. 150 towards SRTEPC development   + GST 18% (1,881/-)] .

      S.S.I. Units(Small/Tiny): Rs. 8,201/-. [Annual Subscription of Rs.6,500/-, a fee of Rs.300/- for publications and a fee of Rs. 150 towards SRTEPC development + GST 18% (1,251/-)].(Valid permanent SSI certificate required)
