Sub : Invitation for participation in IMC Business Delegation to Tehran, Iran to be held from May 13 – 17, 2016
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) an Apex Chamber of Commerce, Trade and Industry in the Western Region, having its headquarter in Mumbai will be taking a Business Delegation to Tehran, Iran, from May 13-17, 2016.
The main purpose of taking the business delegation to Iran is to explore the vast potential for doing business with Iran. The recent lifting of sanctions on Iran has given a renewed impetus to India-Iran bilateral relationship. Indian and Iranian companies are showing a keen interest to collaborate, especially in the infrastructure and other business areas.
The major thrust areas of this delegation are Textiles, cotton, Plastics, Chemicals, commodity trading, Petroleum products along with other Sectors. The objective of the delegation is to explore potential areas of opportunities for trade and investments and establishing business ties with counterparts in Iran through business.
It may be informed that the Business Delegation will be assisted by the Consulate General of Iran in Mumbai, The Embassy of India in Tehran, The Iran Chamber of Commerce and the Tehran Chamber of Commerce. The Officials from the Embassy, Consulates, Chambers and Trade Bodies will arrange potential and fruitful business meetings for all delegates.
