Sub: “Colours of North East” at Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai on 30^th June, 2016

Dear Member,

The Office of the Textile Commissioner, Mumbai has informed the Council that M/s.TM Trend MMS, Guwahati is organizing an event “Colours of North East” at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai on Thursday, 30^th June, 2016 for creating market and promoting North East Textiles.

This is the third edition of Colours of North East to be held in Mumbai. The programme is aimed at promoting investments in the North Eastern Region.

The programme would comprise the following -

1. The investment Road show which would be attended by top industrialists of Mumbai and would include interaction of industry with the North East State Governments on potential for investment in the Region. 
2. Top Bankers of Mumbai, State Government of North East etc. would attend the Investment Road show.
3. Top Officials of Industries Department of North East Region would be present.
4. Cultural evening showcasing fabric, music and dance form of North East Region. India’s Top Industrialists, Filmmakers, Fashion Designers, celebrities etc., will be participating in the event. An exotic Fashion Show of Top Designers of NER is being organized.

In view of the above, the Office of the Textile Commissioner has requested the Council to provide assistance to the organizer by inviting prominent exporters as potential buyers of North East Fabrics which will be displayed during the event along with any other possible assistance.

The Council requests our Members to participate in the investment Road show.
