Dear Members,
Sub: Take benefit of India-UAE CEPA
As you are aware, India-UAE CEPA has been operational since 1st of May, 2022 and the exports of Man-made Fibre Textiles from India to UAE are enjoying duty free market accesses.
However, as per analysis, the utilisation rate of India-UAE CEPA while exporting to UAE is observed to be very low.
In this regard, we urge all member exporters to take advantage of the India-UAE CEPA and increase exports. If you find any difficulty in availing the CEPA benefits while exporting to UAE are requested to inform the Council immediately at email baruah@srtepc.in. You may also inform about any NTB and other challenges with respect to UAE market to the Council immediately.
