Sub: - Discontinuation of practice of making manual debits on physical copy of Advance Authorizations registered at EDI Customs port
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to SRTEPC Circular No.ES/130/ 2016-17 dated 01.10.2016 wherein the Council informed you regarding a circular issued by CBEC vide Instruction No. F. No. 605/30/2015- DBK dated 28.09.2016 about the decision taken by CBEC to stop the practice of evidencing debits manually on physical copy of Advance Authorization as a measure of enhancing the ease of doing business for exporters.
Now, the Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Sahar) has issued Public Notice No. 39/ 2016-17 dated 18.10.2016 on the same subject.
