Presentation Meetings on organizing participation in Cairo Fashion & Tex by Senior official of Organizers of the Fair

TO MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL,

As you are aware, as part of the Council’s Export Promotion Program in a very important and potential market of textiles/clothing in Egypt during 2017-18, we are glad to inform you that Mr. Serhan Pul, Director, M/s. Pyramids International Group, the Organizers of Cairo Fashion & Tex is visiting India for giving Presentation Meetings in Mumbai, Surat and Delhi between 18^th to 20^th July 2017. The program of the Meetings are as follows:

On 18^th July 2017 from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm at COA Meeting Room of the Council’s office in Mumbai. (1st Floor, Resham Bhavan, 78 Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate, Mumbai – 400 020)
On 19^th July 2017 from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm at SASCMA Hall (5^th Floor) in Resham Bhavan, Lal Darwaza, Surat.
On 20^th July 2017 (afternoon) in Delhi (will be coordinated by Federation of Indian Export Organization – FIEO. Detailed information about the Meeting in Delhi will be separately communicated later by the Council on receiving the necessary from FIEO).

The basic objectives for the Presentation Meetings are as follows:

To highlight the importance/potential of Egyptian market of textiles for showcasing the same to discerning customers visiting the Fair.
To inform about the importance for manufacturers/exporters for participation in Cairo Fashion & Tex from 13^th to 16^th September in Cairo.
To inform about the outcome of the last editions of Cairo Fashion & Tex.
To give inputs for detailed arrangements of the Organizers for the forthcoming edition (62^nd) of Cairo Fashion & Tex.
To show the Floor Plan of India Pavilion for accommodating participation of Indian companies.

Since Egypt is a market for not-to-be-missed opportunities by Indian companies – producing/exporting textiles of different varieties/types for developing/further expanding the export of Indian textiles including fabrics for making men’s and ladies apparels; made-ups including scarves, shawls, duppatas; home textiles including bed linens, curtains, cushion covers, car seat covers; fashion fabrics including fashion accessories; and synthetic, cotton and blended yarn of different varieties, we request you to make it convenient to attend the meeting.

Considering space constraint of the Organizers, the Council has obtained a Floor Plan at a central location of the Fair for accommodating only 40 companies. As you are aware, though the standard size of furnished booth for participation in the above mentioned renowned International Fair in Egypt is 9 sqm, however, in order to offer an opportunity to even very smaller member-companies, which normally are not in a position to participate in International Fairs abroad due to the financial constraint, the Council has curved out some smaller furnished booths of 6 sqm in order to give an opportunity to them for exploring the possibilities of developing trade contacts with their potential Egyptian counterparts for discussing business. In case, you couldn’t so far confirm your participation in the above Fair, it is requested to immediately book your space by confirming your participation very soon.

We look forward to receive your confirmation for participation in the above mentioned Presentation Meetings by dully filling in the enclosed Reply Form in Mumbai on 18^th July 2017 (Tuesday) very soon.
