Dear Sirs,

B2B Meeting with Bangladesh fabric manufacturers

Pursuant to the Indo-Bangladesh Commerce Secretary level meeting held in New Delhi November 2016 wherein it was suggested that business delegations of both countries could meet and examine the potential of regional value chains/joint ventures in textiles sector.

Bangladesh has now shared a list of their fabric manufacturers/exporters and proposed for organising B2B meeting in Bangladesh tentatively during 21st – 24th August 2017.   The Council therefore seeks your views for joining the Delegation..

The communication received from the Ministry is given below and the list of fabric manufactures/exporters received from Bangladesh (download) are for your reference and information.

Sub: B2B meeting between fabric manufacturers/exporters of India and Bangladesh

Sir/Madam,

         During the Indo-Bangladesh Commerce Secretary level meeting held in New Delhi on 15-16 Nov.'16, the issue of sourcing of raw materials from India for export of textiles from Bangladesh to India was discussed and it was suggested that business delegations of both countries could meet and examine the potential of regional value chains/joint ventures in textiles sector.

2.  Now Bangladesh side has shared a list of their fabric manufacturers/exporters(enclosed) and has requested Indian side to convey proposed delegates and 2-3 sets of dates for organising B2B meeting in Bangladesh.

3.   You are requested to suggest dates somewhere in the last week of August'2017 for the B2B meeting.
