Sub: Session on Textiles - UP Investors Summit 2018
Dear Member,
The Council is pleased to inform you that the Government of Uttar Pradesh is organising UP investor’s Summit (UPIS) 2018 on 21st and 22nd February, 2018 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh along with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) as a National Partner.
This two day event aims to showcase the investment opportunities in various sectors of Uttar Pradesh. It will offer a global platform, which will bring together Heads of State Governments, key stakeholders and senior policy makers etc. from around the world to further the cause of economic development in the state and promote cooperation.
A special session on “Employment and Investment Opportunities in Textiles and Handlooms” is scheduled for 21st February at 04:00 pm. The objective of the session is to discuss the investment and employment opportunities in the textiles and handloom sector of the State.
Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Satyadev Pachauri, Hon’ble Minister of Handloom & Textiles, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Shri Anant Kumar Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India have been requested to address the delegates during the session.
